Ethereum Layer 2' Arbitrum, Arbitrum Korea Workshop Successfully Completed

Ethereum Layer 2 Arbitrum announced on the 21st that it successfully concluded the ‘Arbitrum Korea Seminar Workshop’ at Korea University.

The Arbitrum Korea Workshop was the first event to promote Arbitrum to next-generation blockchain leaders at Korea University and Yonsei University Blockchain Society, and was held at Korea University's CJ Creator Library on the 16th.

Arbitrum hosted the event, and prepared all aspects of event planning, including selecting an event location and emcee, and producing goods and posters through its own global ambassador. This event was a concept of harmony between Korea University and Yonsei University under the theme of Arbitrum, and blockchain societies representing each school, ‘Blockchain Valley (Korea University)’ and ‘BAY (Yonsei University)’ participated.

In the first part of the event, Jason Wan, Integration Engineer at Arbitrum developer Offchain Labs, presented the topic 'Arbtirum Tech Deep Dive'. The main content of the presentation covers technical analysis of Arbitrum's representative technology stacks, △Arbitrum One, △Arbitrum Nova, △Arbitrum Orbit, and △Arbitrum Stylus, highlighting Arbitrum's high technology and strengths that can help the Arbitrum ecosystem grow. I had a chance to find out.

In Part 2, preliminary and on-site questions were held. Questions and answers were exchanged about things developers building a blockchain ecosystem would like to know and how new developers can build a career in the Web3 industry, providing developers with an opportunity to communicate and break down the high entry barriers to blockchain. .

Lastly, in Part 3, each academy member had networking opportunities and time to interact with industry officials.

Arbitrum Korea General Manager John Park said, “We had a useful event with next-generation leaders who will lead the Korean blockchain industry under the theme of a competition between companies with history and tradition.” He added, “Arbitrum expects many builders in Korea to use Arbitrum in the future.” “We will provide full support to help you join the Trum ecosystem.”

Jaeseong Lee, Arbitrum Global Ambassador, said, “I am glad that Korea University and Yonsei University have an opportunity to meet and have time to discuss and study hard while dreaming of the future of blockchain technology.” “I hope it brings fresh wind to the industry,” he said. He also added, “I hope that many projects and companies will visit the two conferences so that they can have more opportunities in the Web 3 industry.”

Meanwhile, Arbitrum is a layer 2 solution to solve Ethereum’s scalability problem. It is evaluated as having high usability with low transaction costs and fast transmission speed. According to DeFi analysis platform DeFiRama, Arbitrum ranked 4th in overall chain total deposits (TVL) and 1st in Ethereum Layer 2 TVL.
